USCG Issues Recommendations to Safeguard the Maritime Transportation System Through MSIBs

USCG released a series of Marine Safety Information Bulletins (MSIB) based on managed risk, flexibility and restraint. Listed below are a series of MSIBs related to COVID-19:

Prevention professionals from the US Coast Guard headquarters will continue to coordinate with government and non-governmental stakeholders in a cooperative effort to safeguard the MTS. Captains of the Port and Officers in Charge, Marine Inspection located throughout the country have the appropriate authorities to provide and effective presence to quickly address the unique risks associated with their region and to act decisively on-scene with local partners.
