The Great Lakes / Seaway Review recently released its first issue of 2020 with an interesting submission from NETSCo on, Locked-based Ship Design: Planning Ships for Cargo, Trade Ships
In the early stage of ship design there must be a clear understanding of the vessel route, especially in the Great Lakes region as it involved maneuvering through one of the many canals or locks scattered through the waterways. Learn more about this interesting project in an article by NETSCo’s Richard Mueller, President/CEO and Nick Hunter, Naval Architect.
