NETSCo was chosen because of their extensive work to reduce vessels’ carbon footprints having completed studies in the development in hybrid technology, shipboard energy efficiencies to increase fuel efficiencies as well as reduction in noise and vibration. Other core services include FEA, cargo integrity studies and structural analysis of cargo for offshore wind turbines. They recently completed one of the largest capacity, self-unloading barges for cement cargo ships.
